Nursery take art outdoors and explore a range of media, using shape and space to develop our creativity and imagination!

Working together

Nursery created their own 'chick', using printing, cutting, sticking and folding skills to make and do.

Furing creative Arts Week, the focus was 'Under the Sea'. Nursery used printing and painting onto canvass and fabric. they added all sorts of materials to experiment with different forms of expression. They also focused on the story of 'The Rainbow Fish' and created their own representational art work, using charcoal and inks as well as used weaving to create a fish and made their own starfish.

Nursery have created special mugs for a family member. They used special pens to draw and write carefully into the porcelain. Duch focus and care was taken. Excellent! I think everyone loved their special gifts!

Nursery use a variety of media to develop hand strength and control of tools (for writing); to be creative and represent their thinking and ideas and to develop forms for self-expression and be imaginative.

Nursery use different construction materials to make 3D structures to support imaginative play as well as develop physical control and hand strength when using a variety of materials.
